Monique VuoNG, MS, RD, IFNCP
1. I take an individualized, root-cause approach.
I conduct a detailed assessment of your health history and timeline to understand the full picture of your health. l assess several factors that include diet, lifestyle, digestive health, gut health, relationship to food, food sensitivities, exposure to toxins, individual biochemistry and understand how they all work together before creating a personalized plan tailored to your individual needs.
2. I target root causes, not just symptoms.
I help you manage your symptoms by identifying food triggers and patterns, but I don't stop there. As a functional medicine dietitian, I take it a step further and also address any digestive, gut, vitamin/mineral, and other system imbalances that may be contributing to your symptoms. Functional medicine labs will also be recommended as appropriate.
3. I balance science with sustainability.
I help you move away from restrictive diets and focus on adding in what your body needs to feel and function at its best. Long-term restrictive eating plans don't support long-term health. They often leave the individual physically, nutritionally, and mentally depleted.

My work is informed by my training in advanced clinical nutrition, biomedical sciences, and functional medicine.
